Awards have become so common today that it is sometimes difficult to remember their importance. Awards can validate a company’s products and services, lending credibility to leaders and their teams. Earning a distinction speaks to a company’s dedication and work ethic and can transform its reputation from lukewarm to white-hot, setting it apart from its competitors.
Consumers want to know if the company they are considering working with can be trusted and dependable. A positive image can make a world of difference. Awards can increase consumer confidence.
On the inside, looking out, awards can motivate employees, reminding them their challenging work and progress have not gone unnoticed. It is acknowledged and appreciated. Staff morale can improve. When companies evolve to face industry challenges, recognition helps their employees realize their contributions are valued. When a company wins an award, the entire company wins. Getting any award is a cause for celebration.

Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services’ Aster Healthcare Awards
Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services’ provider enrollment company, Primoris Credentialing Network, strengthened its claim as the Midwest’s largest Independent Practice Association.
Primoris recently won a Bronze Award from the 2021 Aster Healthcare Awards in recognition of its website and its dedication to maintaining consistent technical enhancements and solutions. These features offer healthcare providers a better way to enroll in 54+ delegated and non-delegated health plans and network options.
The Aster Awards call attention to healthcare marketing messaging that excels in healthcare communication. Founded in 2002, the national competition is one of the most prestigious events of its kind. Receiving an Aster Award is not an easy accomplishment. Candidates must impress experienced judges amid a vast pool of equally talented entrants. Primoris’ website did just that.
The company’s website details its services, highlighting its technological growth expertise, health plans, networks, and administrative simplicity.
“We believe in keeping it as simple as possible,” states Brad Bond, COO and Co-Founder of Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services. “Less paperwork is better. A single application for numerous delegated plans reduces paperwork, saving time and money.”
The website was praised for cleanly displaying its information in a format that exhibits authority and sophistication. Primoris’ website design reflects its mission to remain a trusted partner of healthcare providers nationwide.
Not to be outdone was Primoris’ sister credentialing company, 5ACVO.
5ACVO’s “Credentialing: Before & After” was met with accolades, winning a Silver Aster Award at the same event. The then-newly branded 5ACVO website garnered another Silver Aster Award, demonstrating the company’s detailed credentialing insight.
Joe Spann, CEO of 5ACVO says, “We work behind the scenes in the daily grind of credentialing to do our part towards the goal we all share of helping those fighting ailments get the help they need. 5ACVO works tirelessly behind the scenes so that healthcare providers can give patients the best care possible, without disruptions caused by the tedious credentialing process.”
Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services’ Other Successes
National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Credentialing Accreditation
Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services completed the lengthy, complex auditing process to earn NCQA credentialing accreditation, spearheaded by our Executive Credentialing Director, Jillian Davis, CPCS.
Founded in 1990, NCQA is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to improving health care quality. Its studies show how well health plans and doctors provide care and identify organizations that improve care.
NCQA President Margaret E. O’Kane states, “Achieving NCQA Credentialing Accreditation demonstrates that Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services has the systems, process, and personnel in place to conduct credentialing in accordance with the strictest quality standards.”
NCQA accredits and certifies a wide spectrum of healthcare organizations and acknowledges clinicians and practices in critical performance areas. Its Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS®) remains the most widely used performance measurement tool in healthcare. NCQA’s website contains information to help consumers, employers, and others make more informed healthcare choices.
NCQA Credentialing Accreditation shows that credentialing organizations can:
- Deliver a smooth and meticulous credentialing process.
- Follow federal and state requirements.
- Present the industry’s best practices.
Since credentialing is crucial to the healthcare system, companies like Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services that obtain NCQA Credentialing Accreditation prove their worth to providers nationwide.
Primoris Credentialing Network’s HealthSmart Audit
In 2021, HealthSmart, one of the largest third-party administrators in the United States, conducted a delegated oversight audit on Primoris Credentialing Network’s credentialing policies and procedures.
Primoris scored a 100% audit score:
- Policy and Procedure Compliance: 100% out of 100%
- Initial Credentialing Compliance: 100% out of 100%
- Recredentialing Compliance: 100% out of 100%
- Area(s) of deficiency: None
Primoris co-founder Brad Bond and Donna Gaydos, Chief Cultural Officer, and the Primoris team spearheaded audit efforts; their 387+ years of industry experience served them well during this audit. However, this was not the only audit the team had to contend with. This audit is one of many that Primoris must go through each year to maintain delegation agreements with its health plan and network provider enrollment options. Such audits assess the company’s adherence to accreditor and certifying body standards, data handling policies and procedures, roster quality and accuracy, and data management technology security.
This victory means Primoris is a preferred provider enrollment service company in the HealthSmart network. Enrolled providers can access a Customer Service Team to answer questions about claims, utilization management, and other provider issues. Providers can also use exclusive resources like provider manuals, newsletters, the HealthSmart Clearinghouse, search tools, and a provider portal.
Primoris Credentialing Network’s MultiPlan Audit
A March 2022 MultiPlan audit was performed on Primoris Credentialing Network’s delegated provider enrollment policies and procedures.
Primoris’ policies and procedures met the requirements for:
- Appeals.
- Credentialing.
- Ongoing monitoring.
- Provider rights.
- Recredentialing.
- System controls.
MultiPlan providers can use a web portal to access client lists, obtain group rosters, check application statuses, request fee schedules, and much more. Providers can use web portal training to become well-versed with the system.
Like HealthSmart, MultiPlan remains on Primoris’ list of delegated contracted companies. Delegated contracts can result in quicker provider health plan enrollment. This allows providers to begin billing sooner rather than applying to separate health plans. Delegated contracts let Primoris use one application to add a provider to multiple plans and networks.
Primoris’ current delegated health plan enrollment options include:
- Aetna
- GlobalHealth
- Humana
- Longevity Health Plan
- Prime Health Services
- United Healthcare
- and many more
